probably yeah. and i'd also need it to be perfect, right away.

if the first thing you write it's perfect, you'd be bored with it.
because when you write something, when you're done with it, you gotta read it again, make small changes, alter a word or two, find a better line, or a new different way to say something, those sort of things. also, you probably won't finish the whole thing in one sitting, so you'll have to come back to it, therefore you'll have to read what you got so far again, "getting in the mood" and when you do that reading you'll make other alterations, maybe on big things, maybe on tiny things, maybe a word, maybe a comma, maybe a whole line. but you'll do some more adjustments.
if what you wrote was perfect on the first try, the first reading you won't change a thing, and that's fine. but when you go back to it, you'll read it again and it'll be all "ah, yes this was okay" and you won't really read it. never again. because "there's no need" and if you don't read your own work - who's gonna read it?
you know what i mean? a perfect work is, and pardon my french, a piece of shit. is useless. and it's a lie.
